In March 2016, Saratoga County appointed Brian Quinn of Tabner, Ryan & Keniry, LLP to serve as the Saratoga County Appellate Defender. In this role, he will provide appellate attorney services to clients of the Public Defender’s Office and the Conflict Defender’s Office. He is excited about the position and will use this opportunity to improve the legal services provided to indigent clients on family and criminal law appeals.
Brian has nine years of appellate experience, including three years working for appellate courts, including the New York Court of Appeals and the Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department. As an appellate court attorney, he worked on a variety of appeals, including contract, tort, tax, criminal, family law, habeas corpus, and Sex Offender Registration Act cases. For the last six years, he has further developed his appellate skills while working at the firm.
In addition, the firm has several other experienced appellate attorneys. We service all needs generated by parties who litigated at the trial court, specializing on trial attorneys without an appellate practice. We handle appeals in both state and federal courts. We also have experience in proceedings before appellate courts for stays and other relief.
