BIO

Mr. Tabner has been engaged in Trial Practice since 1952, after he concluded his one year clerkship with New York State Supreme Court Justice Kenneth S. MacAffer.

His Trial Practice, in addition to personal Injury, medical malpractice and commercial litigation, has included numerous cases involving tax certiorari proceedings starting with Stanford Associates v. Board of Assessor of the Town of Niskayuna, 67 Misc.2d 477, Affirmed 39 A.D.2d 800, appeal denied 31 N.Y.2d 643 (1972), which established the right of school districts to intervene in tax certiorari proceedings, before the right was granted under the present statutes.

His trial practice in this field has involved public utilities, shopping centers, refrigerated warehouses, nursing homes, manufacturing plants, steel mills and numerous types of commercial property.
