Andrew’s work is concentrated in municipal law, commercial transactions and related litigation.

His municipal law work is focused on planning, zoning, and land uses. He is experienced in representing municipalities as clients as well as private developers, both large and small. Andrew has experience in all facets of land use and zoning from project development, developing and implementing municipal comprehensive plans and zoning codes to amending and overhauling current plans and codes, conservation easements and amendments to local codes. He has substantial experience in litigation proceedings related to real property, tax certiorari, enforcements, commercial transactions and land use. He has tried a noted condemnation case to conclusion and handled a wide variety of Article 78 proceedings in court. He has tried a federal civil rights case to verdict.
In court, he also routinely prosecutes code violations on behalf of municipalities, achieving total demolition of dilapidated and unsafe buildings and structures and removing long standing community nuisances. Andrew serves as special counsel for the Planning and Zoning Boards of several municipalities. He is also the Town of Rensselaerville Civil Prosecutor.

In his commercial practice, Andrew is experienced in representing both buyers and sellers in closing commercial transactions and significant, high value financed leasing. He has significant experience in advancing the commercial and business interests of his clients. His attention to detail and persistence have resulted in very favorable solutions to complex business problems.

Andrew is goal driven and result focused and thoughtfully presses to ensure client goals are promptly and timely achieved.

Andrew is a 2017 graduate of Syracuse University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. He received his law degree from Albany Law School in 2020 and was awarded the John Dugan Prize. Prior to his practice of law, Andrew was employed in the banking industry, the Authorities Budget Office and the Division of Tax Appeals Tribunal for the State of New York. Andrew began his legal career as an Associate at Tabner Ryan & Keniry LLP immediately upon his graduation from Albany Law School in 2020. His attention to client goals and objectives, together with his friendly manner, have established a record of success.
In litigation, Andrew has also successfully represented clients in matters involving estate and trust matters, construction, liens, and other matters in both state and federal courts.

Andrew’s professional experience in these concentrated practice areas, coupled with his experience in banking and government, provides clients with unique insight to advance and achieve specific goals and objectives.
